You can't make me watch.

Because, screw it, the Celtics are good again, and I don't need this crap.

The NCAA Tourney is just a nice little tournament now. So is the NIT. So is your local high school state playoffs. Yeah, I might watch, but you can't make me.

I'm not going to watch simply because I once watched.

March Madness? You bet!

I'M MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!

I don't want to watch because upperclassman STARS are the exception, not the rule. Instead of Dwayne Wade, we're more likely to get Adam Morrison and Sean May and Joakim Noah. *Puke*

Give me Carmello Anthony as a senior, Kevin Durant as a senior and Derek Rose as a senior.

JUST GIVE ME.

Some of the greatest players of this current NBA generation never even wore college basketball uniforms. If the NCAA Tournament wasn't good enough for them, why is it good enough for me?

Oh, you'll play as a freshman because they're MAKING you?!?

Well, you can't MAKE me!!!!!!!!

Thank you.

You got me all wrong. I caught two calls in one minute out of the corner of my eye while doing freelance on the couch, which was my default position all weekend.

Between October of 2004 and April of 2005, the Sox won the World Series, Carolina won the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 12 years, the Patriots won yet another title, and Junior was born. Some combination of those events sapped my enthusiasm for a lot of that stuff. Pats are still must-view, but no one else is, except for the Celtics in the playoffs. OK, and the Sox in the playoffs. At least until 9:30 p.m. But I remember when the Sox' being on ESPN meant troy got the night to hisself, and I definitely remember taking vacation days to watch the opening two days of the Tournament.

No, rather than think I was trying to convert you, see my post for what it is: a naked attempt to seem topical and cool, and to pad the post total.

I didn't mean you, Kemo Sabe.

I meant THEM.
